I accidentally broke my work laptop mouse and went to get another wireless mouse for it. This looked comfortable and it advertised as a good buy.
However, I come to find that this mouse is very jerky. I've tried adjusting my mouse settings on the computer, and it does not work. No matter how slow or fast I have the speed, it stops and switches directions.
I'd recommend not buying this mouse. I'm going to have to buy yet another, not a Targus, mouse because this is not a reliable mouse and it takes me longer than it should to get to files and webpages.

This is the second Targus laser mouse that I have purchased this year. I use the first for my desktop and it performed well, but without any real test it was unremarkable other than solid performance.
I began to watch Netflix on my laptop (connected to my TV) and had the laptop connected near the television due to short monitor cable. I temporarily moved the Targus mouse and its dongle to use with the laptop and it worked well from 5-10 feet from the dongle. I even moved the mouse 15 - 20 feet from the laptop and it still worked like a charm. The dongle is very small so it doesn't interfere with laptop's ergonomics. The batteries in my original have been going for over 4 months, so when Targus says that the batteries will last, I have found that to be true.
I reccommend this mouse to anyone who needs a cordless mouse. It was a bit higher in price compared to some of the other models available, but I think the few dollars more are worth it. Other cordless mice I have owned cannot live up to what the Targus does.
