These sheets are super soft (almost like silk). They're reminiscent of the quality you find at 5-star hotels, hence my rating. You will not be disappointed!

Trying to live sustainably on a budget is what lead me to these sheets. However, these are the worst quality sheets I have ever bought and slept on and I'll share why:
1. They are poorly made. The seams were already coming out of the pillow case and one of the corners on the fitted sheet. "No problem," I thought. "I can repair that."
2. There is NO stamp that guarantees that they are certified organic cotton (there should be international 3rd party stated on the label for all organic products). Initially, I thought since this was an "Italy-based" company, that maybe the certification agreements are different?... But that is not true. And I feel bad that I have used them and am unable to return them.
3. They are not sateen.
4. The fitted sheet does not fit correctly on my mattress as one of the corners is too short.
5. I followed the washing directions exactly, with non-abrasive, eco-friendly detergent. They started to pill after the first wash...
These sheets simply are not what they are promoted as. "Organic", "Egyptian", "Sateen", and "500 Thread Count" are all great, but there is always a price tag associated with that kind of quality. I forgot this logic when seeing the price, but after sleeping on them, I would not pay anything for them.
Lesson learned.

Bottom line, these are great sheets FOR THE PRICE. These are not the most luxurious sheets out there and do lose their softness after a few washes, but they are the best sheets I have been able to find for under $50. Again, if you are expecting to receive $300 sheets, look elsewhere. These are fair sheets for a fair price.
